Bessie T. (Guthrie) Stroop, wife of the late Paul L. Stroop died on June 2, 2011 in the Pottstown memorial Medical Center. Bessie was bor in Clarkton, VA a dughter to the late Richard and Mary (Tribble) Guthrie. Bessie lived most of her life in Spring City, she was a faithful member of the Spring City United Methodist Church. A life member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Liberty Fire Company of Spring City , she enjoyed crocheting afgans for family. Bessie wwas employed at the former Roberts Meat Packing Co. in Kimberton for many years. She is survived by son: Paul Leroy Stroop husband of Stella of Pottstown and a dugter: Betty L. Finkbiner wife of david of Royersford, and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren abnd three great great grandchildren. And Sister: Gladys Miller of Milford, MI and brothers: Roy Guthrie husband of Dolly of Ellicott City, MD and Lennie Guthrie husband of Thelma of Bridgewater,VA.
