Russell (Russ) H. Walton, age 67 a resident of Royersford PA, died May 17, 2011 in the Phoenixville Hospital. He had lived with several number of illnesses over the past several years. He was born in Phoenixville a son to the late Leonard and Blair Walton. He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School. He was the sole proprietor in a floor covering store in Phoenixville for several years and later in business with his sons in Royersford. He loved sports and was a very good baseball player in his early years. But, his passion and love was for spreading the news about Jesus Christ. If you knew Russ, you've been the subject of his message and prayers. He entered this world with no possessions and has left this world the same. Choosing to give rather than to receive. He is survived by four children, David husband of Heidi Walton, Dale husband of Denise Walton, Doug husband of Lauren Walton, Justin husband of Leigh Walton, 13 grandchildren and also played a strong role in the lives of Dallas Breidenbach and Dawn Felin. Also survived sisters: Joan and Shirley and brothers: Lenny,Bill, Jim,and Sam. A private graveside burial will be held Saturday at the St. Peter's UCC Church Cemetery in Chester Springs. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Saturday at 11:30am at the Spring City Fellowship Church Glass Ave. and Bridge Street Spring City PAS. The Rev. John Shantz will officiate. A memorial fund is being created to pay for his end of life expenses.
