Jean Edwards, 79, Spring City Jean M. Edwards, wife of Kenneth Edwards, of Spring City, passed away at The Season's Hospice, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Born in Stowe, PA to the late David and Regina Abrams, Jean lived most of her life in Spring City. A member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, she was employed at the former Philco Ford Company, Spring City. She then was employed as a cook at the former Pennhurst State School and the Southeastern Veteran's Center. Jean enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and attending her grandchildren's activities. In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by her daughters, Beth Ann Bealer, wife of Brian, and Victoria Carmody, wife of Robert of Spring City. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and one great grandson. She is predeceased by her three brothers and two sisters. Friends and family are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, December 12, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA, with The Rev. Charles O'Hara officiating.
