Obituary of Catherine Ann Simon

Catherine Ann Simon, 73, Douglassville Catherine Ann Simon, 73, wife of Mr. Richard Simon died Sunday, October 9, 2016 in Bryn Mawr Hospital. Catherine was born in Wilkes Barre, to the late William and the late Doris (Davies) Burns. One of three children, her father's career in the military moved her around a lot, including three years in Germany. A 1961 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School of Levittown, PA, Catherine then went on to study at Goldey Beacom business school and later became the office manager at a local medical practice. She invested in the lives of her children and others and was an active member of the Royersford United Methodist church. She taught Sunday School and youth group. Catherine enjoyed reuniting with special friends in the community and women of the church. In addition to her loving husband, Rich of ____ years, Catherine leaves behind two sons: Gary, husband of Kathleen, Atlanta, GA and Chris, husband of Lisa, Pottstown, PA; two sisters, Jean and Doris G and five grandchildren: Parker, Kiernan, Ellery, Riley and Cooper. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Royersford United Methodist Church, 380 Church St. Royersford, PA 19468. Rev. Zabdiel Y. Khan will be officiating. Friends are invited to come prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 for a time of visitation with the family.
